Roof insulation in Leuven
A poorly insulated roof can account for significant heat loss. This pitched roof was thoroughly insulated from the inside.

Over dit project
The pitched roof of this home in Leuven was insulated from the inside to reduce heat loss through the roof structure. The roof is an important part of the thermal envelope of a property, and correctly installed insulation can make a significant difference to both energy efficiency and indoor comfort.
The insulation was carefully installed within the existing roof structure. Particular attention was given to the connections between the different roof sections in order to minimise gaps and thermal bridges.
The insulation layer was then completed with a protective airtight finish. Good airtightness helps prevent unwanted air movement through the construction and allows the insulation to perform more effectively.
The completed roof provides better protection against heat loss during colder periods and contributes to a more stable and comfortable indoor environment throughout the year.
