Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small pieces of data stored by your browser and potentially sent with matching requests. localStorage keeps data in your browser without automatically sending it with every request. Tags, pixels and iframes may also contact external services.
Necessary storage
nu-isoleren.consent is this site’s localStorage item. It stores necessary, analytics and marketing choices, the consent version and saved/expiry timestamps. A choice is valid for at most 180 days. Afterwards it is no longer applied and the banner appears again; localStorage does not automatically physically delete the old value. Necessary storage remains active. NEXT_LOCALE is the next-intl language cookie, saved when needed. The current configuration sets no max-age: it is a session cookie, whose restoration also depends on browser settings. No other application-owned sessionStorage use was identified.
Analytics
Analytics is off by default and reserved for optional statistics services. The marketing agency does not currently use Google Analytics. An analytics choice is not marketing consent and does not itself load a separate Analytics script in this site.
Marketing: Google Ads and Meta Pixel
Google Ads and Meta Pixel are managed through GTM, not separate website scripts. Marketing is off by default. With consent these services can measure campaigns and conversions, including visits to contact or quote thank-you pages. Exact tags, cookies, recipients, individual purposes and lifetimes still need checking in the external container and production browser. We do not publish an unverified cookie list.
Google Tag Manager and Consent Mode v2
GTM-P6K3L9WQ loads after the site first sets analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization to denied and processes any valid stored choice. Analytics controls analytics_storage; marketing controls the three advertising values. Changes are sent through Consent Mode and nu_consent_update. GTM may load while denied. Depending on settings, Google tags can send cookieless measurement requests. Meta tags require their own GTM restrictions; Consent Mode does not automatically block every tag. Without JavaScript, the noscript iframe may contact Google but cannot read localStorage preferences. This fallback must not run optional tags; its container settings need checking.
Google Maps and reviews
The contact-page Maps iframe currently loads directly when the browser loads it, independently of cookie preferences. Google may receive technical data and use its own storage. Exact cookies and durations have not been established. Google Places supplies reviews through our server; external reviewer photos may also make requests to Google. These services are not described as already consent-gated.
Accepting, rejecting and changing preferences
On your first visit you can reject all, set preferences or accept all. Analytics and marketing can be chosen independently. “Cookie preferences” in the footer or below lets you change or withdraw your choice. Missing, invalid, expired or outdated-version preferences cause the banner to appear again. Clearing browser storage also clears your choice. Withdrawal changes future permission but does not automatically remove cookies or data already held by external providers. Use browser settings where necessary and contact us to exercise your privacy rights.
External storage still to verify
The GTM container contents and providers’ production settings are outside this website code. Specific names, domains, lifetimes and transfers will be added only after reliable verification. See the privacy policy for contact details, data processing and your rights.
