Who handles your data?

Nu-Isoleren.be BV is the controller of personal data collected through this website. For questions about your data or to exercise your rights, contact us using the email address, telephone number or postal address above.

Contact and quote requests

The contact form collects your first and last name, email address, optional phone number and message. A quote request also requires a phone number, street, house number, postcode, town and selected services; its message is optional. Both forms record the language and the time you confirm the privacy checkbox. Contact requests also store the source “contact_page”. Requests are stored in the backend database with creation/update timestamps and a handling status. Quotes receive a reference and links to selected services. Contact requests may have internal follow-up notes. Neither form offers file uploads. Required fields are needed to submit the form.

Purposes and legal bases

We use your request to reply, contact you, assess the proposed work and prepare a quote. Quotes and enquiries made with a view to entering a contract involve steps taken at your request before a contract is concluded. The basis for other enquiries and technical logging still needs to be documented; we do not assume blanket consent for all processing. The required privacy checkbox records your confirmation, not permission for advertising or a newsletter. Optional marketing technology has a separate consent choice. You may withdraw consent to processing that relies on it.

Hosting, storage and email

The frontend, Laravel backend, and database are hosted on an OVHcloud VPS in Gravelines, France. Brevo provides transactional email: internal contact notifications, and internal notifications and customer confirmations for quotes. Messages may include the request details, your name and email address. Form success confirms database receipt, not email delivery. Website images use configurable object storage; its final provider and region remain to be confirmed. An optional CRM webhook exists for quote follow-up. Its activation and recipient must be checked before it is described as an active transfer.

Technical data and security

Delivering pages and processing requests sends connection information, including your IP address, to the relevant servers. The backend validates input, limits requests and logs errors. External service error responses may appear in logs. Production log fields, access permissions and retention are not yet fully established. This website does not place form data in thank-you page URLs. This does not guarantee the practices of every external provider.

Google, Meta and embedded content

Google Tag Manager manages Google Ads and Meta Pixel. The marketing agency does not currently use Google Analytics. The site passes analytics and marketing preferences to the container; whether every tag respects them must be checked in GTM. The forms do not themselves send names, email addresses or other form fields to the dataLayer. Google Places supplies business reviews through the server; reviewer photos may load from Google. The contact page includes a Google Maps iframe which is currently not blocked by cookie preferences. Google receives connection information when it loads. See also our cookie policy.

International transfers

International providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Specific regions, recipients and applicable transfer safeguards have not yet been confirmed. We therefore do not claim any particular adequacy arrangement or contractual safeguard. Contact us for information about your data; these details need to be completed before production readiness is finalised.

Retention

Ordinary leads and contact enquiries that do not result in a customer relationship: at most 2 years after the last contact. Quote requests that do not result in a customer relationship: at most 2 years after the last contact. When a prospect becomes a customer, personal data needed to perform the contract, handle administration, keep accounts, issue invoices or meet legal obligations may be retained longer in accordance with the applicable statutory retention periods. This does not mean that all earlier prospect data automatically remains necessary. Belgian accounting and tax documents must generally be retained for 10 years, subject to the applicable rules and any exceptions. This statutory document-retention obligation is separate from the period for ordinary contact enquiries and quote requests without a customer relationship. Cookie consent (nu-isoleren.consent) remains valid for at most 180 days, as technically configured. The site then asks for your choice again. Separate periods for technical logs, backups and storage by external providers still need to be established. The contact and quote retention periods above are company policy; practical deletion procedures must be aligned with that policy.

Your rights and withdrawing consent

Subject to the applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data and object to processing. Use the contact details above. Clarification or proportionate identity verification may be needed. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing based on consent. Change cookie preferences using the button below or in the footer. You may also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority using the link below.
