Pitched roof insulation in Hasselt

For this project in Hasselt, the pitched roof was insulated from the inside using insulation boards. The existing timber roof structure was retained and used as the basis for installing the new insulation layer.

The boards were carefully fitted between the different parts of the roof construction. Particular attention was paid to the joints and connections, as small gaps in the insulation can create unnecessary heat loss and reduce overall thermal performance.

By creating a more continuous insulation layer across the roof surfaces, less heat can escape through the roof and the attic space is better protected against large temperature fluctuations.

This type of roof insulation is particularly valuable when the attic is already in use or will eventually become part of the heated living space.
