Improving the energy efficiency of a detached home in Hamme

For this detached home in Hamme, Nu-Isoleren carried out a complete cavity wall insulation retrofit using EPS beads.

Small openings were carefully drilled into the exterior brickwork, allowing the EPS beads to be blown into the existing wall cavity. The insulation material was distributed throughout the space between the inner and outer walls.

Uninsulated or poorly insulated cavity walls can account for a significant amount of heat loss from a property. By insulating the cavity, more heat can remain inside the home during colder periods.

This can contribute to lower heating demand and reduced energy costs.
