Cavity wall insulation in Diksmuide for a detached house
We insulated the existing cavity walls of this detached home in Diksmuide with EPS beads, helping reduce heat loss without major exterior renovation work.

Over dit project
For this detached house in Diksmuide, we retrofitted the existing cavity walls using bonded EPS beads. Detached properties have a large external wall area directly exposed to outdoor temperatures, making effective cavity wall insulation particularly useful for reducing heat loss through the walls.
Before installation, the cavity was inspected. Small openings were then drilled through the mortar joints and the EPS beads were blown into the cavity in a controlled manner. Once the insulation work was completed, the drill holes were carefully repointed to keep the original appearance of the façade as discreet as possible.
By insulating the cavity walls, this home in Diksmuide can retain heat more effectively and improve indoor comfort without requiring a complete renovation of the exterior walls.
